The Village of Oriskany Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing Tues., Oct. 28, 2025 to discuss project ideas for upcoming grant opportunities, including the NYS Downtown Revitalization Initiative/NY Forward program. The meeting will be held at 6:30 pm at the Oriskany Museum (420 Utica St., Oriskany).
The village is seeking input from its residents about what could be updated and improved to support small businesses and quality of life. Businesses, potential business owners, and community leaders are also invited to attend or submit a 1-2 page proposal of potential projects that could contribute to a vibrant downtown. The public is encouraged to attend or send their ideas to grants@oriskany.org or PO Box 904, Oriskany, NY 13424.
